Your journey begins with a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and caring for orphaned elephants. Here, you can witness elephant feeding, playful river bathing, and learn about these majestic creatures up close. Experience their daily routines:

• 08:30 AM: Orphanage opens to visitors.
• 09:15 AM: Bottle feeding of baby elephants.
• 10:00 AM: Elephants head to the river for bathing – a heartwarming sight!
• 12:00 PM: Elephants return from the river.
• 01:15 PM: Bottle feeding of baby elephants.

After lunch, we will proceed to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Sigiriya, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by enchanting forest landscapes.

Begin the day by exploring the Sigiriya Forest. Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its Lion Rock Fortress. This ancient marvel rises majestically above the surrounding plains and features stunning frescoes, water gardens, and breathtaking views from the summit. It’s a symbol of Sri Lanka’s rich history and culture.

In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, where you’ll witness majestic elephants gathering by the large reservoir, creating unforgettable moments.

Start your day with a hike to Pidurangala Rock, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Sigiriya. Afterward, take a traditional village tour to immerse yourself in the local way of life, followed by a relaxing kayaking adventure on tranquil waters.

Travel to the Dambulla Cave Temple, another UNESCO site filled with stunning Buddha statues and intricate murals. Next, head to Ambuluwawa Tower, which stands tall at 3,567 feet. This iconic monument is not just a tower; it offers a serene escape surrounded by breathtaking scenery, providing 360-degree views of nature’s beauty.

The day continues in Kandy, known as Sri Lanka’s cultural capital. Here, you can visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site, set against misty hills, a peaceful lake, and vibrant traditions like the Kandyan dance performances that showcase the island’s heritage.

Visit the famous Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a lush paradise with over 4,000 plant species. Later, return to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural heart. In the evening, enjoy a captivating traditional Kandyan dance performance         (5:00–6:00 PM).

Continue your journey to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” for its colonial charm. Explore lush tea estates, cascading waterfalls, and breathe in the cool mountain air. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Embark on a scenic train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella, celebrated as one of the most beautiful train rides in the world, showcasing stunning mountain vistas.

To enhance your experience, consider taking a Calypso Train ride, enjoying an open-roof train ride from Ella to Demodara. Journey along Sri Lanka’s southern coastline, stopping at the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases colonial architecture. Continue to Mirissa, where you can relax on pristine beaches and enjoy the turquoise waters.

Tip: Mirissa is also a prime location for whale and dolphin watching. Start your day early with a boat ride at 6:00 or 7:00 AM to see these magnificent creatures.

(Last 3 days spend in Bentota)Travel continues to Bentota, in a stunning coastal town in Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and take some time to relax after your journey. After lunch, you can unwind on the beautiful sands of Bentota Beach. In the evening, a peaceful Madu River Boat Safari awaits, providing an opportunity to explore lush mangroves and observe various wildlife. The day wraps up with a delightful dinner at the hotel.

Day 13 : Adventure and Relaxation

Day 13 Start with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before indulging in a unique Fish Therapy treatment. Next, they will visit a nearby turtle hatchery to learn about the important conservation efforts for sea turtles. After lunch those seeking adventure can enjoy thrilling water sports on the Bentota River (additional costs may apply). The evening offers a chance to relax at the hotel or take advantage of spa amenities, with dinner served at the hotel.

Day 14 : Cultural Exploration and Leisure

The day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the beautiful Brief Garden, designed by Bevis Bawa. After lunch you can enjoy some leisure time at Bentota Beach, soaking up the sun or participating in beach activities. In the evening, an optional sunset cruise offers breathtaking views of the horizon, concluding with a farewell dinner at the hotel.
