After a satisfying breakfast at your Negombo hotel, we’ll start our journey inland toward the incredible Cultural Triangle!

This scenic drive to Sigiriya takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax and watch the Sri Lankan landscape transform from the coast into beautiful, lush farmlands and jungle—the perfect backdrop for your cultural adventure.

Upon arrival, we’ll get you checked into your relaxing Sigiriya hotel, giving you time to settle in before the evening’s unique activities begin.

 Evening: The Authentic Habarana Village Experience

Ready to immerse yourself in local life? This evening, we have arranged a beautiful, traditional cultural experience for you with the Habarana Village Tour!

We’ll start our day bright and early after a light breakfast. Why so early? To beat the tropical heat and enjoy the magnificent views!

• Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site): We will start our morning early to avoid the midday heat. As you ascend the 1,200 steps, you will pass the world-famous “Sigiriya Damsels” frescoes, the polished Mirror Wall, and the colossal Lion’s Paws that guard the final staircase. Reaching the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view of the jungle canopy stretching to the horizon—the same view King Kashyapa enjoyed from his palace over 1,500 years ago.After the thrilling climb, we’ll head back to your hotel for a well-deserved, hearty breakfast and some time to relax by the pool.

 Afternoon: Wildlife Safari at Minneriya National Park

In the late afternoon, we’re off for a change of pace—it’s time for a thrilling wildlife adventure!

• Minneriya National Park: This park is globally renowned for the “Gathering,” where huge herds of elephants congregate near the reservoir—it’s truly a magnificent sight to behold! We’ll explore the park by open jeep, keeping a sharp eye out for elephants, crocodiles, deer, and many other fascinating native species.

(6:00 AM – 10:00 AM) or an afternoon safari

After breakfast, make your way to Hikkaduwa, a lively coastal city famous for its beautiful beaches and vibrant coral reefs.
